The Office

If there was a magazine that did a article for top 100 jobs in America, number one would be Dunder Mifflin working with the the number one boss Michael Scott. I'm not going to lie you could probably call me obsessed. The show is still on and hopefully will continue with season nine. Though the new manager is now Andy the show is still great since it has jim, pam, dwight, angela, phillis, darral, creed, kelly, toby, and oscar. You can ussually find the show on tbs, Tv 38, and nbc. Also its on Demand.or netflix. I'm a huge fan of this show and HIGHLY RECCOMEND IT.

Shipping Wars

This weekend over my dad's I decided to watch for the first time ever Shipping Wars which ultimately became a great show. though every episode is consistent to every show I still find it very entertaining. Their are about maybe five or six delivery people all together. Each episode is thirty minutes long and bring laughter to your lives. You can find the show on A&E on usually at nine but i'm not totally sure.

Awake

Are you looking for a show to watch on Thursday night? Well you’re in luck because NBC has launched a new show called Awake which has began airing a few weeks ago. The show has captured over four million fans all ready in the first opening of the series. Maynard High School Mystery and Horror class is actually following the show week by week to analyze the show and come up with ideas for an up coming project. Right now the show is on its third episode and will be on at 10 o’clock at night.
Now you’re probably thinking why someone might be interested in watching this series? Well the show holds a very unique storyline, plot, and cast. “Awake” is set during modern time and deal with a man having one major mysterious conflict. The main character Michael has suffered from a horrific car accident in which his son and wife were involved in. Now this may seem at first like a rehashed plot but there’s much more to it than that. After the car accident, Michael wakes up one day and his wife perished after the accident but his son lived. The twist in the series is that when he falls back to sleep, Michael wakes up sleeping with his wife and his son has died. Right now there are many theories that are brought to the viewers’ attention but their still not enough evidence to persecute which one may be correct. I have read other reviews about the show and comments and I have compiled a list of theories which you can find at the end of the review. Awake keeps the fan well awake the whole entire hour and entangles he/she from either changing the channel or walking away from the TV and doing something else.
The cast of character are played by very talented actors/actresses. I can at least see this show running for four seasons with many plot twist that will keep the viewer watching. If you happen to be bored one Thursday night or anytime during the week, I would highly suggest it to give it a try, and if you don’t feel like its your cup of tea well there are plenty of other great shows on NBC like the Office.

The Race of a Life Time

Reality T.V shows have been around for awhile. But Amazing Race is sitting on top as one of the best shows of the decade. This show has the viewers eyes fixated on every moment… well at least for me.
Amazing Race is on the 20th race and still pulling in huge ratings. Amazing Race is so unique from other game shows by having contestants traveling the world in order to win 100,000,000 dollars. In between the race are challenges that test their physical or mental abilities. There are two people on a team that go against usually eleven other teams. Each season teams travel to every continent which must be an “amazing” experience. Every episode is as thrilling and cut throat as the next and will keep you entertain.
Amazing Race is on Sunday at eight all the way to nine. If you do miss the show however you can just go on the Amazing Race website. As you can probably tell I’m a huge fan of the show and just maybe try out to be on it one day with my older brother who has a thrilling story which just might land us a spot.

Keeping up with the Kardashians

Have you ever watch or even heard of a show that you loathed so much you thought of throwing the remote at the TV. Well the "Keeping up With the Kardashians" is my show. Sunday was day I want to forget. Every Sunday I work a double. Are bartender for this day was a young lady who is entertained by bratty selfish little twits that just talk about themselves and their PROBLEM. She would flip on E when no one was at the bar and because of the football game,we were dead. So when were dead,I had nothing to do so Ispent most of my time I'm the bar. All I heard from their mouth was complaints. THEY ARE FAMOUS AND RICH WHAT IS THERE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT. Just typing this makes be a little flustered. Their is nothing positive I could say about this show. I recommend no one to watch this show because it's horrible and will give anyone a headache. Please give your opinion in the comments because I would love to hear them.

Psycho

“The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown” this is a quote every horror director should live by when filming their movies. Films today have dramatically changed compared to films from the 50s and 60s. Today’s horror films feel they should add an unrealistic amount of blood during one killing scene. The saw franchise is an example of this, every death brings unimaginable pain.
Every good horror should have the viewer not only scared but also keep them with a feeling of suspense. Watching a horror movie that was produce in the 2000s is like listening to someone scratching their nails on a chalkboard. Directors seem to focus on the killing more than their own storyline or plot. Psycho was a masterpiece for its unique story .The dialogue between the actors/actresses in the film seem they were written by a middle school student. What worked well in Psycho was how well they made the music fit into the feeling of the scene. Today you don’t even realize music is playing if there is any. Horror directors today feel the only way to get the extra mile is to add more scenes with blood.
Every year, horror flicks seem to pump more blood in a killing scene. Halloween is one of the best horror franchises of our time. Rob Zombie remade the very first Halloween. This new version of the film you can easily identify what’s different and what’s not. Also you can see how today we think adding more blood will make a movie better. Psycho was the first movie of its time to actually show a women dress. Today we see mostly in horror films nudity.
We as a society get used to stuff like gore as well as nudity so with that said television and movies become more graphic each decade. People today are more influence by movies than actual books. Directors need to realize that they don't need to add the gallons of blood in order to make a great horror film. The ring became a great horror film without adding to much blood.
Psycho is a classic horror which kids today can enjoy. Movies in the same genre of Psycho should not try to to go beyond it but rather should try to pull the audience in like Psycho.
